Rainbow Mountain Trek

Day 1 : Cuzco, Peru

Discover the majestic Rainbow Mountain of Peru, a sacred site and unique natural wonder, on this challenging and rewarding hike.

You'll begin your day with an early pick-up from your hotel between 5:30 and 6:00 am. You will travel by car for approximately 2 hours to Cusipata-Paucarpata, where you'll have an included breakfast. After breakfast, continue until the control point where you'll observe the snowy peak, Winay Ritty (Forever Young).
Walkthrough beautiful landscapes until we reach the Rainbow Mountain (5020 meters above sea level). Here, you will enjoy all the colourful and magnificent views, including a panoramic view of the mountain of Seven Colors. You will have enough time to rest and take pictures. After that, walk back to Llaqto, where the vehicle will be waiting for you. After lunch, you will depart back to Cusco where you'll arrive at approximately 6:30 pm. Your adventure comes to an end with a drop-off in central Cusco.

Please note that this hike is demanding and at high altitude. It is recommended that travellers are in good physical condition.
