The Great Barrier Reef is a World Heritage site and is the largest reef in the world, stretching some 2,300kms along the coast of Queensland. It is truly one of the great wonders of the natural world and a 'must-see' for anyone visiting the region. The outer Great Barrier Reef where our pontoon is situated is acclaimed as one of the most pristine sites with an abundance of coral and fish life. You can explore this spectacular spot with our Great Barrier Reef Adventures.
There are many ways that you can explore the colourful underwater world. You don't even have to get wet! Our 'stay dry' options include the underwater viewing chamber, where you can watch the antics of tropical fish (and divers!), or a fascinating semi-submersible ride. The semi-sub takes you on a cruise around the reef, getting you up close to a variety of coral and fish life. The experience is just like snorkelling or diving, but you don't get wet! You can chill out on the sun deck of the pontoon and admire the great expanse of the reef around you. The aqua colour of the water will astound you. If you really want a good view, then take to the skies with a heli-flight. The flight is an additional cost, but is an experience of a lifetime!
For those happy to dive in, you can snorkel the day away! Snorkelling is an incredible way to see the reef and if you haven't done it before, we have plenty of staff on hand to help you out. Diving is an additional cost, but it simply can't be beaten. We offer both introductory dives and certified dives.
