You don't necessarily have to leave the continent to do some volunteering while travelling. We've got some really cool volunteer projects within Europe that you could get involved in if you want to get a taste of it without flying halfway across the planet.
Where can you volunteer in Europe?
Currently, we work with several different projects in Portugal and Croatia. It's the perfect spot to combine adventure on your own and volunteering as a life-changing part of your travel experience. The projects we work with vary a lot from destination to destination, so you should find a project that suits you as a person. Reach out to us and we'll find something that suits your tastes.
The projects are quite diverse, ranging from marine conservation to forest protection. If you don't feel like getting your hands dirty in the literal meaning of the word, there's even a program to help an NGO's team to create campaigns that encourage the local community to take action in their own surroundings!
