Slovenia is on the crossroads between Balkan and the Alps. Central Europe yet also Balkan. In the western part of the country adrenaline and sun-seeking travelers have started roaming in numbers. In the east, however, the distances between the wandering souls are immense. To explore this majestic country in a cozy camper all makes perfect sense. Trust us on this one.

Lean back and let your imagination flow. A road heads up through the lush green hills, above a meltwater lake. The winding roads seem to never have an end. High above a road curve, a silent paraglider, embracing the upwind. Below in the deep ravines, a group of adventurists canyoning with high laughs down through waterfalls.

Slovenia is a dream for explorers and road-tripping souls. Only 1.5 hours from the deep mountains and you reach the sea in Mediterranean Piran. 1 hour and you are in deep underground cave systems at Postojna. 1.5 hours and you and your crew are rafting down the azure blue Soca river. Go slow, make a stopover at the next village. Head down that unpaved road that you have no idea where it leads. Camp near a small creek. For a night. Or just for a swim.

A road trip in Slovenia is for all you nature lovers who get goosebumps of scenic mountainscapes, sleeping under the stars and the amazingly unpolished Balkan vibe.
