Day 4: Bangkok to Kanchanaburi

Time to pack your bag and head to your next destination: Kanchanaburi. Make your own way from the hostel to Makkasan Station (https://goo.gl/maps/3p6GjQBQJ6dvdaCh9) and look for the 12Go counter. From there, hop on a join-in minivan that will take you to Kanchanaburi Town (about a 3.5h drive).

Set astride the calming River Kwae, Kanchanaburi is best known for the "Death Railway" built by Allied prisoners of war and Asian conscripted laborers under Japanese command during the Second World War.
