Cruising with motor ships along the magnificent Kvarner Bay of islands on the route:
Split - Hvar - Vis - (Bol) Milna - Split

For this trip all you will need is a few T-shirts and a swimming costume to spend four unforgettable days sailing on the southern Adriatic Sea from one island to another. Relax and let the captain and his crew (especially the chef) take care of you. During the day you can swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and explore the underworld of the Adriatic Sea. The evenings you have at leisure to find a good restaurant or discover old churches or other historical monuments….
Itinerary

Croatia Sailing - Split - Split - Mini Cruise (Traditional Ensuite)

Day 1: Split - Hvar

Check in from 11:00 in Split harbour with departure at 13:00 towards the Paklinski Islands near Hvar (the longest island in the Adriatic) for lunch and a swimming stop. The Renaissance cathedral has its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe is here, founded in 1612. Hvar is known as a jet-set island, offering abundant entertainment, excellent restaurants, bars and cafés serving drinks long into the night. Don`t forget to buy some island lavender from local stalls. Overnight in Hvar Town.

Lunch is included

Day 2: Hvar - Vis

Early morning departure towards Biševo island to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, cave visit may be closed due to wind and/or high tide - you will be notified, in time, by the crew. Entrance to Blue Cave is to be paid on the spot (approx. EUR 10-14.- per person and is not included). Afterwards, we continue towards Vis island, which was “off limits” to tourists for many years. Because of its unique geographical position, it was a strategic harbour for the Yugoslav navy and in this period of isolation Vis has retained a rather special charm reflecting the “‘Mediterranean as it once was” making it really interesting to see. The town of Vis is on the northern side of the island and was developed near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia, formed by the Greeks in 4th century B.C. Visit the remains of the Roman Baths, City museum or take a walk enjoying the view of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the coast.

Breakfast and lunch are included

Day 3: Vis - (Bol) Milna

Our next stop is the island of Brač. The most famous (and most photographed) beach in Dalmatia is Zlatni Rat near Bol (the Golden Horn - a shingle bar that moves and changes shape according to the wind) and it is here that we stop to swim). Bol is a typical fishermen’s village that still feels like that despite being a popular spot for visitors. We leave Bol and head to Milna, or as the Venetians called it “Valle di mille navi” (the bay of a thousand ships) is located on the north-west side of the island. Milna is still reputed as the most beautiful and the safest harbour of Brač. Stone houses along the beautiful long coastline are small masterpieces of plebeian architecture. For years, Milna was known for its shipbuilding and the renowned Dalmatian boat “bracera” was first made here. Today, Milna is a popular tourist centre and a favourite nautical port.

Breakfast and lunch are included

Day 4: Milna - Split

Early morning departure for Split and on arrival it is time to say goodbye to the crew and all your new friends! Check out by 09:00 and transfer to Split airport.

Optional activities which are NOT included in the price:

Accommodation

You can choose between an under deck or an on deck cabin. Please note, however, that the different cabin types are based on availability. All cabins come equipped with a washbasin, bunk beds and common showers/toilettes.

"On deck" cabins can be situated on the main deck (deck on which you step on as you embark the ship ), and on the upper deck (deck on top of the main deck). "Under deck" cabins can be found below deck and are actually in the hull of the boat. Advantage of cabins situated on deck is the direct exit to the sea and more fresh air, while cabins below deck are sometimes more quiet (only fellow passengers who have booked below deck cabins will pass by and not all passengers from your ship as well as other ships when docked) and comfortable because they're situated on the sea level that chills the cabins and hallways below deck. Cabins below deck mostly have little portholes.

The crew does not enter your cabins during the cruise, so you need to keep your cabin clean by yourself.

Cabins are not air-conditioned, but salons and hallways below deck usually have air conditioning. Air conditioning is turned on only while the motor or generator works, or while the boat is connected to electricity in harbor. If the boat is docked at sea or in a smaller fish harbor that doesn't have an electricity plug, air conditioning is turned off, because otherwise the generator would disturb the peace and quiet.

For single travellers wishing a private cabin, a single supplement is available.

Local transport

For the duration of the cruise you will be on one of our boats. All our boats are motor boats made of wood or iron. Boats are different sizes and shapes and we do not know which boat you will be one until 2 weeks before departure. Boat owners are mostly captains for whom this job is a part of a family tradition, so it’s not rare that the crew members are part of one family. Depending on its size, your boat will have about five crew members. Usually that means a captain, a chef, a waiter and deck hands.

Transfer to and from the boat/harbor are NOT included in the price. You will have to make your own way to us!

Meals

Some meals are included:
Continental breakfasts and three course lunches according to itinerary. 1 liter of bottled water is included daily.

Food onboard is similar to traditional Croatian food. Breakfast is a continental breakfast, and consists of tea and coffee, fruit juice, bread, butter, jam, and sometimes ham and cheese. Lunch is traditionally plentiful. It consists of soup or pasta as starter, a main dish with side dishes, salad and dessert. Main dish is two or three times weekly a fish, and in other cases meat or chicken. Side dishes are potatoes, cabbage and other vegetables. Dessert is fruit or cake. Dinner is not included because we encourage you to explore local restaurants.
