Learn about the culture, history and traditions of the tiny towns of North Argentina, as you ride through the Humahuaca mountains admiring the beautiful panoramic landscapes. We will depart Salta heading towards Jujuy by way of the Yungas jungle stopping by the villages of Vaqueros, Caldera and Carmen along the way.
After visiting Jujuy, we will begin to traverse the gorge of Humahuaca and visit the towns of Yala, Volcán, Tumbaya, Purmamarca (Hill of the Seven Colors), Tilcara (Pucara, archaeological museum) and Humahuaca where we will stop to have lunch (not included). Enjoy some free time to walk around town to take photos. On our way back to Salta we will pass through the villages of Uquia, Huacalera, Maimara (painter's palette) and San Salvador de Jujuy. Finally, we will hop on the highway and cruise back to Salta arriving around 8:00 pm.
