Student life in Coventry

Coventry is a welcoming, friendly and safe city. Coventry is England's 11th largest city and is an exciting place to live with extensive arts, culture, heritage and plenty of events to keep you entertained. The low cost of living makes it one of Englands most affordable cities for students.

Coventry - the music city

Coventry has a livly music scene. The city bosts massive arenas perfect for stadium rockers, as well as smaller underground venues. And to be honest, its the small ones that are the best. Head off to Taylor Johns for some cold beer and a chance to see the coolest up and coming bands before they make it big. If you like the more sofisitcated crowd, check out the Coventry Jazz Festival in May.

Explore more of England

Coventry is an excellent staring point for exporing England and the rest of the UK. Rail connections are abound and will take you to exciting cities like Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and many more. When you get enough of the cities, catch a train out to the countryside and explore quaint castles and colorful national parks.

Climate

As with the rest of the British Isles, Coventry experience a maritime climate with cool summers and mild winters. Average temperatures range from 24 °C in summer to 2.4°C in vinter.
