Kenya & Tanzania 10 day group tour

Embark on an amazing group tour with likeminded backpackers, when you go explore the best highlights of both Kenya & Tanzania for 10 days. This group tour starts in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, and takes you past the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Arusha. Along the way you'll get amazing views of the Kilimanjaro, and you'll get a great insight into the local life in both Kenya & Tanzania. One of the benefits of this trip is, as said, that it's a group tour which means you get to explore and experience and share memories with fellow travelers from all over the world. And who knows? Maybe you'll find a new travel buddy on this trip!

Zanzibar Time to volunteer

The group tour ends on Zanzibar, where we've arranged a two week volunteer stay at a local kindergarten in Stone Town on Zanzibar. The kids are between 3-6 years old and you'll be teaching the colors, numbers and basic English as part of your weekly tasks. Volunteering in a local community like this is a great way to deep dive into the local culture and a chance to build friendships with both passionate locals striving to build a better future for the children as well as other volunteers from all over the world.

In this itinerary you get to experience Kenya & Tanzania in two completely different ways. First on a group tour through the both countries - camping style and secondly by volunteering in a local kindergarten on Zanzibar. It's all about getting new friends as well as exploring the local communities.

After flying into Nairobi you'll jump on board the 10 day group trip that takes you from Kenya into Tanzania and back again. You can already start to get hyped about the fantastic national parks, the outstanding wildlife and the social aspect when traveling in a group through the deserts and savannahs of East Africa. 

On the group tour you'll meet indigenous Masai tribes, go on game drives and a couple of scenic hikes in the African wilderness. The group tour passes by Nairobi, Arusha and Dar es Salaam, all of which are big cities with lots of cool local markets, cultural sights and great food opportunities.

When you arrive in Zanzibar, it's time to say goodbye (for now) to your travel buddies, as your next exciting adventure as a volunteer in a kindergarten is waiting for you. We've included 2 weeks of volunteering, but if you want to do more, we'll sort it out.

Remember that this is just an example and that you can tailor this route suggestion to fit your needs and desires! Maybe you want to shorten the number of days? Maybe you want to travel more? We have plenty of options for you, just reach out to us!
