Arrive in Mexico City after a long flight. Kick your legs up, and get ready to start the adventure the next day. You'll join likeminded backpackers on an 8 day trip through Central Mexico where you'll pass by Puebla and Oaxaca before touching down in beautiful Puerto Escondido.
We've booked you in to an 8 day surf camp where you'll learn to surf like a pro! Never tried it before? No worries. We work with a really cool company providing only the best surf instructors, so you'll be up on that board in no time. You live in a surf camp and the vibe here is sooo chill. And the best part? You'll either get to learn Spanish from scraych or brush it up if you're somewhat able to speak it. This camp combines both Spanish and Surfing - perfect for the rest of your trip. After 8 days, unfortunately you'll have to catch a flight that takes you to Cancun.
You arrive in Cancun, and what's next is entirely up to you. We recommend that you spend at least 2 weeks exploring the regions Yucutan and Quintana Roo, preferably more time if you can squeeze it in. There's a ton of things to see, and we're not just talking about the stunning beaches. Take som trips inlands and discover old Maya ruins or pay a visit to one of the countless cenotes, which is small natural deep-water wells, perfect for a dip when it gets too hot. Once you're ready to move on, it's time to explore Costa Rica.
You land in San José, the capital of Costa Rica. Here you'll meet up with another cool group of backpackers, who will join you in the next 11 days, where you'll roam around Costa Rica exploring everything that's worth exploring. If you're into adventure, you can look forward to both Monteverde and La Fortuna, where you'll experience the lush jungles and a ton of cool adrenaline pumping activities. Your trip ends in Tamarindo, where you'll find your own way to Santa Teresa.
Santa Teresa is one of those small picturesque towns by the beach where life passes by extremely slow. Visit The Bakery (yes, that is the name) for a nice breakfast, and show off you're newly acquired surf skills when the breaks allows for it here. Santa Teresa is a place loved by surfers from all over the world, and you'll quickly discover why. At some point, unfortunately, everything good comes to an end and you'll find your way back to San José where you can catch your flight back home. If you want, that is. If you want to continue your trip, just let us know, and we'll sort it for you.
