Sydney Arrive and welcome dinner

After a long flight your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hostel. Get settled in, relax and get to know your new travel buddies over dinner! We have arranged for you to receive a bank card, tax number and SIM card once you arrive to Australia. So instead of starting your adventure by standing in line at the bank, you can look forward to 7 epic days that you will never forget!

Sydney Welcome orientation & City tour

Rise and shine! Today we’ll cover all essential stuff you need to live and work in Australia, including signing you up to the Work and Travel Jobs Program. After the orientation the city tour starts. You'll get to see Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. In the evening you'll be guided on a tour around some of the historical suburbs of Sydney.

Sydney Job Seminar & Harbour Cruise

In the morning it's time for you to get all the best tips and tricks before going job hunting. There is an arranged job search seminar that should provide you with all necessary information. In the afternoon, you’ll head out on a private sailing cruise around Sydney Harbour, which is the best way to spot Sydney’s iconic sights including the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Bonus: There will be a nice aussie BBQ on deck!

Blue Mountains Time to get active

Leave the city behind for a while and head out north to Blue Mountains, home of an impressive scenery right in Sydney's backyard. Find your hiking boots and get ready to spot wildlife, check out waterfalls and just enjoy the spectacular views from the mountains.

Sydney Coogee to Bondi coastal walk

Walk the famous coastal walk between Coogee to Bondi where you'll get to explore 6(!) beaches along the way.
You'll finish the day at the world famous Bondi Beach. Take a swim or just relax and work on your tan (don't forget to apply plenty of sun screen, trust us!).

Sydney Learn to surf

Wake up to the sunrise and get ready for a full day of surfing with qualified surf instructors at a a beautiful secluded beach. You'll be cruising the waves in no time. After a nice day of surfing, it's time to taste Sydney's nightlife. We've arranged a pub crawl taking you to some of the best bars the city has to offer.

Sydney Onward travels

You’re now ready to go off travel and work around Australia. As it usually takes a few more weeks before you get a job - and we suggest that you spend time traveling instead of just waiting around. For example, you can buy a bus pass and travel along the east coast up to Cairns. Or why not improve your surf skills and apply for jobs at the same time? Let us know what you're up to and we make sure to hook you up with our best adventures in Australia!

This intro package starts every Monday and we recommend that you arrive in September before the peak seasons start for better chances of finding a job. Let us know if you would prefer to arrive and kickstart your year in Melbourne instead of Sydney and we'll hook you up up with an awesome introduction package similar to this one!
