The Star RV Polaris 2 is a 2-person self-contained and fully equipped campervan. Perfect for couples or two friends travelling together, in a premium, spacious and comfy vehicle.

The Star RV Polaris 2 is your choice if you're looking for comfort and space while road tripping through Australia with your partner or mate. The Polaris 2 is fully self-contained with a shower and toilet, and includes all the premium touches and amenities that define a Star RV. If you're travelling with children and need more beds, we recommend checking out the Star RV Polaris 2+2 here. 

Please note. The high season for campervan rental in Australia runs from October to March. The earlier you book, the better prices. When availability goes down, the campervans become more expensive. Don't wait too long to book!

NB: This model is currently only available for pick up and drop off in Cairns, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Driving and sleeping

The Star RV Polaris 2 is comfortable to drive with cruise control, parking sensors, rear reversing camera, ABS and collision warning. It's one of the more compact campervans equipped with a bathroom, which helps with manoeuvrability. It comes with an automatic transmission, so all you need to focus on is getting used to driving on the left side of the road, which shouldn’t take much more than a few hours.

The vehicle sleeps 2, in a comfortable double bed at the rear of the campervan. It’s perfect for a couple or two friends exploring Australia together. Bedlinen, pillows and the like are of course included in the price. Read more

Kitchen facilities

The kitchen in the Polaris 2 is both practical and spacious. It's got all the necessities needed for a road trip Down Under, with an 90L fridge, sink, and microwave. A 90L fresh water tank + 60L grey water tank is plenty to get you through the day. You'll also find all cutlery & dinnerware, a frying pan, saucepan, kettle & bowls included with your rental. Rental Locations and one-way rental

Star RV has multiple rental centers across Australia. However, for this particular model it is currently only possible to pick up and drop off the campervan in Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney.

It is possible to book one-way rentals between the Star RV rental centers in Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney. A one-way rental fee applies (AUD 0 -300). Read more

Age

Drivers must be 18 years of age or over to rent and drive this campervan. You will need an International Driver Permit as well as your home country Drivers Licence.

For drivers between 18-20 an underage driver surcharge will apply. Read more
