If you're unsure about driving a bigger vehicle, a Spaceships campervan might be the right fit for you, as it's the campervan that most closely resembles a regular car in terms of driving and handling. All details on this page are concerning the Beta 2S Self-Contained Campervan, but there are different Spaceships models (based on the same type of vehicle) with slightly different configurations and specs. Please note: The peak season for campervan rentals in New Zealand is from October to March. The earlier you book, the better the prices you get. As availability decreases, campervan prices go up. Don't wait too long to book!

A Spaceships campervan is easy to drive because it's more like a regular car than a large campervan. The automatic transmission only adds to the comfort - the only thing you need to focus on is the road!

At the back of the van, you can pull out the kitchenette. The kitchenette is small but practical, and you'll find everything you need on a road trip in New Zealand included here. On North Island there is a rental location in Auckland, and on South Island it's in Christchurch.
