The Mighty Double Up campervan falls into the category just above the small and compact campervans. This standard campervan sleeps 4 people.

With this van you get all you need for travelling at your own pace through New Zealand! The campervan is suitable for 4 people and has two double beds, a shower, toilet and kitchen on board. It is ideal for 2 young couples, a family or a group of 4 friends.

Please note. The high season for campervan rental in New Zealand runs from mid November to late February. The earlier you book, the cheaper. As availability goes down, the campervans become more expensive. Don't wait too long to book your New Zealand adventure!

Driving and sleeping

The front cabin of the Double Up seats 2 people while the remaining two passengers are seated in the living space. It's a large diesel unit with automatic transmission. If you are not familiar with the steering wheel to the right and driving in the left side of the road, don't worry, it will only take you a short while to get comfortable. This Mighty Double Up campervan is equipped with seat belts for 4 people. Inside the campervan there are 2 double beds, one above the drivers section (cab) and the other double bed at the rear. The rear bed can be stored during the day and a table pops up. Basics

Supplied in the camper you will find linen and bedding, kitchen essentials including crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils plus all the general living gear you’ll need.

Some models features an awning, but this is not guaranteed.

Don’t forget to pack soft bags instead of a suitcase – much easier to store in the campervan. Read more

Kitchen facilities and bathroom

The kitchen, shower and toilet is located in the center of the Mighty Double Up campervan. The kitchen stove has four burners and there is also a microwave oven which is quite convenient when you just need to heat or re-heat your food (requires power hook-up). The 80 L fridge/freezer holds your groceries cold while on the road.

The bathroom has a toilet and even a shower, which means you can freshen up, even though you are located in a city parking lot or at an empty beach in a fjord. Read more
