If you're going to study one or two semester in San Diego and prefer to live off-campus, this is a great place to stay. In addition to a 4 km long beach, it has a bay for water sports and many cafés, restaurants and shops.

Do you like going out to a bar, event, festival, show, restaurant or a nightclub? San Diego is known for its great parties and nightlife. One of the best places to go is Gaslamp Quarter and plenty of parties are organized by students on campus. Please keep in mind that alcohol is not allowed under 21 years.

The San Diego region has a Mediterranean climate, offering mild, sunny weather throughout the year. The monthly average temperature is 14 °C in January and 22 °C in August. The hottest period of the year is usually late summer/early fall when it can reach above 30 °C. Snow and ice are rare in the wintertime.
