Destination #1 Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok is a city that offers everything a backpacker could wish for. It's easy, buzzling and inexpensive to travel to and therefore a great starting point in Asia. Next up: Experience Thailand's jungle and beaches or explore Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam before moving on.

Destination #2 Singapore

Singapore is a western cultural melting pot in the middle of South East Asia. Spend a few days in Singapore and try a city tour or two before setting off on a backpacker trip through Malaysia and Indonesia.

Destination #3 Melbourne, Australia

Melbourne is a perfect gateway into Australia and great experiences await you in the land Down Under. We suggest at least 3 nights in Melbourne before moving up the East Coast towards Sydney and Brisbane. Rent a campervan or get a bus pass.

Destination #4 Cairns, Australia

Once you've reached Queensland it's time to fall in love with the Great Barrier Reef and all its splendor. Try sailing the Whitsunday Islands, snorkel the Reef and skydive in Cairns. This part of Australia is all about adventure and beautiful scenery.

Destination #5 Auckland, New Zealand

Land of the Kiwis! You can't really get any further away from home! Do a round trip of New Zealand as part of a small group adventure tour or do a road trip in a campervan. In any case, make sure you have enough time to enjoy the magnificent wonders of New Zealand. That's at least 3 weeks (but 5 is better)!

Destination #6 Fiji

It's hammock time! Swim, snorkel or dive in Fiji - or just spend a few days or a week lazing on the beautiful beaches.

Destination #7 Los Angeles, California, USA

Last part of your Classic RTW journey ends in Southern California. Get a set of wheels (car or motorhome) and find your way to classic highlights such as San Diego, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and Yosemite National Park. Back to L.A. via San Francisco and home you go. That's it!
