C / Velázquez: A long shopping street full of shoe shops, cafés, restaurants, etc.
C / Princesa: From here you will find the same shops as from those mentioned above, but in a much more relaxed athmosphere.
El Rastro's old city changes every Sunday morning to be one of the world's biggest flea markets.
Travel to Madrid and enjoy spanish tapas
You can eat tapas anywhere, anytime. One of the best ways to get to know Madrid and Spain is through local food and wine. Spain has an excellent cuisine. Remember that in Spain dinner is eaten as late as possible. Some restaurants open their doors at 9 in the evening. Begin your evening by enjoying a couple of drinks in Plaza de la Cebada and then continue in Cava Bajan street where all the best restaurants are.

In Madrid it's perfectly fine to sleep in late and relax, in this city the nights are long and mornings are short. You get to see many of Madrid's sightseeing by having a walk along the boulevards. A must-see attraction is the Prado Museum, a real adventure for those who love art. From here you find the golden paintings of Velazques, El Greco's and Goya's...
