Walk into the lush Cameron Highlands Rainforest through a fantasy-like mossy rainforest. Visit a tea plantation, beautiful butterfly gardens, a strawberry farm, the Sam Po Buddhist temple, and the Gunung Brinchang overlook point for unforgettable views.
We will first make our way to the tea plantations that spread across this area. You will walk around the plantations and then visit the tea factory where you can try some tea. On Mondays, the factory is unfortunately closed. Then we will continue to the view point of Gunung Brinchang, which is the highest peak in the area at 6,666 Feet (2,032 Meters). Then from there, we will go trekking in the mysterious and fantasy-like Mossy Forest. Then we will have our stop at a local restaurant to have lunch.
Note: Please note that Mossy Forest boardwalk will be closed from 6th December for unknown period of time. Instead we will take a trek to Coral Hill or walk outside the perimeter of the forest. The two options depend on the capability of the guests as well as the weather conditions.
After lunch, we will continue to the butterfly garden where you have the chance to get up close and personal with butterflies, stick-insects, tortoises, snakes and some small mammals. Then we will continue to the strawberry farm, where you can try some delicious strawberry cookies, shakes and juices. After that, we will head the Time Tunnel Gallery so you can see how this area used to look like many years ago. The we finish our tour at the Sam Po Buddhist temple. You will return to your accommodation in the later afternoon.
NOTE: The tea factory and tea house are closed on Mondays.
