Who can do an internship abroad?
Internships abroad are for anyone who has turned 18 years of age. It is a clear advantage if you are enrolled in a higher academic education, however, this is not a requirement. In China it is possible to become an intern during your gap year.
If you have completed your studies within the past 12 months and commence your internship abroad within 12 months after completion, it is possible to do an internship abroad. It is also possible to do an internship abroad 12 months after completion of your degree and in that case, it is required that you have at least one year of relevant work experience within your field of study.
Unfortunately, we cannot help finding internships for hairdressers, electricians, carpentry students and the like due to visa restrictions. If you're in doubt whether your field is covered, you can always e-mail ud and ask about your possibilities.

Are there any language requirements?
It is required that your level of English is above average since this is the language spoken during your internship. In China, the working language is also English, and you will receive free Mandarin courses during your internships so that it is easier for you to get around in China, meaning you will strenghten both your English and your Chinese language skills.
Your educational background and/or your previous work experience must be related to your desired internship abroad.
